I would really love to get flowers this year from someone special. I don't get treated kindly too often and sometimes I find out that people who spend time with me aren't spending time with me because they love me but rather because they have no one else to hang out with, they want a favor from me, or they simply have nothing else to do. I don't remember the last time someone looked out side themselves and just let me know they were hanging out with me cause they appreciate my company.
Honestly, I love everyone I know. I spend time with them because I value them and who they are. It hurts to find out that there have been some that have only been with me because of where I have been, where I am, and were I want to go. I have sometimes been given the free ride to find out that I have been used for a free ride. I know its difficult to understand unless you have been used...or your unfortunate circumstance has allowed others to use you so that they can get praise. You would be able to understand if you were used as the stepping stone.
Who do you tell when you are the only who knows the story. You're the sad story while the hero getting all the glory is so "humble and generous". It's easy to be on top when you have someone to stand on. It's harder to get them off of you when its you holding them up. It's difficult to explain and painful to live it. I wouldn't wish this on anyone, not even on the one who's doing it to me.
All I can say is I have seen evil with my own eyes...and people it is one very ugly creature. It is too easy to find...it chases you to destroy you.
I am grateful to know God. He always sees, always hears, and he takes notes. I am sure he has made some amazing people that he wants me to know. I'm hoping I get to meet them all this year. I want to talk about things that are meaningful. I do not like gossip and discord. I prefer honesty, love and sincerity.
Joyful moments are always treasured when in good company.
